Ms Tolmajian has extensive diplomatic experience. She joined her country’s diplomatic service in 1995 and has held several positions in the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including adviser to the Minister. She was also Armenia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the French Republic and to the Principality of Monaco.

The Secretary General of OTIF welcomes this appointment, which will ensure stable cooperation between Armenia, a Member State, and OTIF. The presence of permanent representatives of Member States at the Organisation’s headquarters enables more agile cooperation between the Member States and OTIF.
