OTIF secondment programme: call for applications from experts in Member States

30-03-2026

The Intergovernmental Organisation for International Carriage by Rail (OTIF) is starting its secondment programme and inviting applications from experts in its Member States.

These secondments, which are for a limited period, will enable experts to maintain their links with their home administration whilst contributing to the Organisation’s activities within an international and collaborative framework.

This initiative offers the opportunity to contribute to the Organisation’s work and the development of international railway law within a dynamic, multilateral environment. Those selected for secondment will work closely with the Secretariat on key topics such as legal affairs, dangerous goods or technical interoperability, depending on their area of expertise.

Supported by their national authorities, secondees will help to strengthen cooperation between OTIF and its Member States, whilst making the most of their skills within the railway sector.
