The survey is aimed at all interested parties: OTIF members, stakeholders registered with the ad hoc Committee on Legal Affairs and International Cooperation, international organisations, international associations, all actors in the rail sector and any other person with a legitimate interest in the subject.

The responses to the survey will then be analysed and submitted to the ad hoc Committee, which is working on the possible revision of the Uniform Rules concerning Contracts of Use of Vehicles in International Rail Traffic (CUV UR).

The survey deals with the movement of empty wagons, liability for damage caused by a vehicle under Article 7 of the CUV UR, and vehicles with a means of traction.
