He presented the Secretary General of OTIF, Mr Aleksandr Kuzmenko, with his letter of appointment from the Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Development Cooperation, Mr Maxime Prévot.
Mr. Van Gheel has been appointed as Belgium’s Permanent Representative to OTIF, succeeding Mr. Pascal Heyman.
During this courtesy visit, the Secretary General of OTIF welcomed this appointment, which will ensure the continuation of relations between Belgium and OTIF.
