Revision Committee
The Revision Committee is an organ in which, in principle, all the Member States are represented.
The Revision Committee is convened by the Secretary General.
It is responsible for amending COTIF and Appendices A, B, D and E (the CIV, CIM, CUV and CUI Uniform Rules). The Revision Committee therefore takes decisions on proposals to amend contracts of international carriage of passengers by rail (CIV), goods (CIM) and contracts of use of wagons and infrastructure in international traffic (CUV, CUI). It is also responsible for taking decisions to amend certain Articles of Appendices F and G (APTU, ATMF).
The Revision Committee takes part in the development of railway contract law, OTIF’s institutional law and the development of rules on technical interoperability. Revision Committee latest.
